Featuring highly-pigmented colors and a pleasing fragrance from the addition of natural beeswax, these high quality crayons are safety-tested and non-toxic. They can easily be cleaned off surfaces with a soft cloth and a bit of vegetable oil. Block crayons will not crumble or break, and should last for years.

Block crayons were developed in Waldorf schools to allow children to cover large areas of paper (to create grass, ocean or sky), and for making colorful borders on the pages of one's Main Lesson Book.
